CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Uber is rolling out new safety and choice features in Charleston that allow women riders, drivers and teens to be matched with women on trips.
The company announced on Dec. 18 that its “Women Preferences” options are launching in Charleston as part of an expansion to 29 additional U.S. cities. The features allow women riders to request women drivers, and women drivers to choose trips with women riders.
