CHARLESTON , S.C. (WCIV) — Bank of America cardholders can enjoy free admission to two different major Charleston museums this weekend as part of the “Museums on Us” program.
All BoA, Merrill, and BoA Private Bank cardholders can receive free general admission to the International African American Museum (IAAM) and Gibbes Museum of Art on Saturday, Jan. 3 and Sunday, Jan. 4.
This weekend is the last change to see the IAAM’s re/Defined exhibit, which examines how artists from the US and broader African Diaspora have challenged stereotypes by preserving African traditions, resisting systemic oppression, and activating audiences. At the Gibbes, current exhibits include Rembrandt: Masterpieces in Black & White Prints from the Rembrandt House Museum, which features the full range of Rembrandt’s etching output, and First Look: Recent Acquisitions to the Collection, which celebrates the newest additions to the museum’s collection…
