Police say suspect damaged door with firearm, assaulted ex-girlfriend in alleged attack

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — One man was arrested Tuesday and faces charges in connection with a domestic violence incident from early December.

Sa’Quan Bernard Zellars, 25, is charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, third-degree domestic violence and first-degree burglary, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

On Dec. 5, Zellars allegedly arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s home, damaged the door with a firearm, entered the residence, assaulted her and accused her of being with another man, police said…
