North Charleston Police arrest woman for pointing firearm during argument

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — North Charleston Police Officers arrested a woman on Dec. 25 for allegedly pointing a gun at another person during an argument.

Kennisha Lashay King, 35, was arrested and charged with pointing and presenting a firearm, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Officers responded around 3:20 a.m. to the 2600 block of Otranto Road for a reported altercation involving a firearm.

Officers encountered King, who was in possession of the firearm. A victim told officers that King came to her apartment with her daughter and an argument broke out. The victim then said that King pulled a firearm from her waistband and pointed it at her…
