NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston police say a fatal hit-and-run collision led to the closure of a portion of Rivers Avenue Thursday night.
Around 7:49 p.m., an unknown vehicle hit a pedestrian on Rivers Avenue near Hawthorne Drive. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries, and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not publicly identified the deceased.
