SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A dog is being quarantined after it was exposed to rabies by a bat found in Summerville.
The South Carolina Department of Public Health said the rabid bat was near Stockport Circle and Kirkwall Drive. The dog is being quarantined as required by the South Carolina Rabies Control Act.
