SULLIVAN’S ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Lithium batteries are believed to have sparked a Saturday morning garage fire on Sullivan’s Island.
Sullivan’s Island Fire Chief Anthony Stith said firefighters and assisting agencies responded to a detached garage fire off Atlantic Avenue shortly after 8 a.m.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and damage was contained to the small garage and property inside the building. No injuries were reported.
