BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County is asking residents to help shape the future of affordable housing and community development as it prepares a new five-year strategic plan tied to federal funding.
County officials are developing the 2026–2030 Consolidation Plan, a federally required document that guides how Berkeley County will identify and address housing, infrastructure and community needs using Community Development Block Grant funding. As part of that process, residents are encouraged to complete a public survey at this link to share their priorities and concerns.
The Consolidated Plan serves as a roadmap for how the county will allocate resources through its Community Development Block Grant program over the next five years.
