NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A married couple was arrested after an early-morning dispute escalated into violence and gunfire Tuesday.
Tiesha Monique Brown, 33, and Steven Lamont Lynah Jr., 39, are both charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to jail records.
Police responded to the incident at a house in the 1900 block of Baxter Street around 2:25 a.m. The husband told officers that he fled the home through a bedroom window and locked himself inside a vehicle in an attempt to get away from his wife.
Police reports state that Brown followed Lynah outside and threatened to break the vehicle’s window with a cordless drill, but she was unable to do so, she reportedly left the drill on top of the vehicle. Lynah allegedly grabbed the drill and charged toward her, in which she pulled out a gun in response.
During the struggle over the gun, one shot was fired. No injuries were reported from the gunshot…
