CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run collision on the Ashley River Bridge Tuesday night.
The Charleston Police Department reported that just before 7 p.m. on Jan. 7, a bicyclist was traveling in the roadway on the bridge heading into Downtown Charleston when the victim was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
According to the Charleston Police Department, the bicyclist died at the scene following the collision. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the bicyclist…
