Summerville man charged with fentanyl induced homicide, sheriff’s office says

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities arrested and charged a Summerville man in connection with a fentanyl-related death.

Deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded on Dec. 29 to an address on Patterson Drive for a possible overdose. They arrived to find a man who was unresponsive and not breathing.

The man died at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not yet released their identity…
