NCPD searching for suspect in deadly shooting of child

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is searching for a person they’ve identified as a suspect, believed to be involved in the shooting of a 4-year-old who was shot and killed by a stray bullet in December.

Duane Fransiqo Wright, 20, is wanted by the North Charleston Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for homicide, assault and battery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging a weapon into a vehicle, the agency reports.

The charges stem from a Dec. 16 shooting that took place on Van Buren Avenue, taking the life of a 4-year-old child…
