You’ll never catch me!
A downtown woman on Dec. 29 reportedly led Charleston police on a high-speed chase (read that sarcastically) after she allegedly stole a motorized scooter from a local grocery store. The woman told police she routinely takes the scooter and then hides it in the bushes so it’s always available for her when she goes shopping. Also stolen: $4 worth of canned tuna. The tuna scooter bandit rides again!
