CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Four new affordable housing units are now open in downtown Charleston, marking another step in the city’s broader push to expand housing options for working families and longtime residents.
City leaders and the Charleston Redevelopment Corporation celebrated the opening of the Septima P. Clark Cottages with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 89 Fishburne Street. The homes were built on land donated by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
