CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — High pressure will pull away as a quick moving storm system with a cold front slides through the Southeast on Wednesday. Expect sunny skies today with highs in the low 60s this afternoon. Clouds will begin to increase tonight ahead of Wednesday’s chance of showers. A few showers will be possible Wednesday morning through the early afternoon. A second chance of a few showers may move through Wednesday night with the arrival of our next cold front. Highs will be in the 50s Wednesday but will likely not climb out of the 40s Thursday. Our coldest night of the week appears to be Thursday night which will lead to a start in the 20s Friday morning, Wind chills may drop as low as teens.
