MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) — A man was charged after a call for service led to deputies discovering a stolen gun at a gas station.
Jamal Tre’von Fulton, 23, of Kingstree, is charged with possession of a stolen firearm.
Deputies responded to a call for service at a Spinx gas station at the intersection of Highway 78 and College Park Road Wednesday. The store employee reported that a gold Honda sedan parked at the location for nearly two hours.
Upon arrival, they located the vehicle in question and made contact with the occupants and observed a marijuana odor. When they asked the occupants to exit the vehicle, a gun allegedly fell from Fulton’s jacket, which caused deputies to conduct a probable cause search, according to Cpl. Carli Carr.
During the search, they located two additional guns inside, one being a stolen black Glock 21 out of Cumberland, North Carolina…
