IOP Police Dept. is the first SC law enforcement agency to receive sensory-inclusive certification

ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – The Isle of Palms Police Department is the first SC law enforcement agency to receive sensory-inclusive certification from KultureCity.

The IOPPD is making strides in law enforcement by completing a training and certification process to prepare first responders to assist individuals with sensory sensitivities.

1 in 4 people are neurodiverse, things like autism, anxiety, ADHD, and more, according to Uma Srivastava at KultureCity.
