The Charleston Scottish Games and Highland Gathering, a long-running annual cultural event, has announced that its 2026 event has been canceled.
Hosted by the Scottish Society of Charleston, the gathering is the second-oldest event of its kind in the Southeastern United States. Since its founding in 1971, the event has celebrated Scottish heritage through a wide range of traditional activities, including professional and amateur athletic competitions, pipe band competitions, Highland dancing, Border Collie demonstrations, food vendors, children’s games and other cultural programming.
