19-year-old arrested, accused of causing estimated $40K damage to Shadowmoss Golf Club

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A 19-year-old from Ravenel was arrested Tuesday and faces charges after reports of vandalism to multiple holes at the Shadowmoss Golf and Country Club in West Ashley.

Witnesses at the scene claim Gavin Alsbrook Cole entered the golf course driving a pickup truck after hours. He then did donuts in his car on several fairways and greens, causing “extensive damage,” according to the Charleston Police Department.
