Church in Liberty Hill gives back to the community in honor of King holiday

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A church in North Charleston celebrated during the Dr. Martin Luther King Day holiday in King’s spirit by helping its neighbors.

Royal Baptist Church, located in the historic Liberty Hill Community, hosted its annual Martin Luther King Breakfast.

The senior pastor, the Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt Jr., presented checks in the amount of $2,000 each to six schools:

  • North Charleston High School
  • Stall High School
  • Military Magnet High School
  • Morningside Middle School
  • Liberty Hill Academy
  • North Charleston Elementary School
