MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD)— Dominion Energy crews are staging in designated areas locally and continuing to monitor weather conditions as a winter storm brings freezing temperatures and gusty winds to the region. Officials say crews will remain focused on serving Dominion Energy’s local service territory but may be repositioned within those areas if outages occur.
Crews lined up early Friday morning in Mount Pleasant, loading trucks with supplies and safety gear in case power outages occur.
“There’s the potential for gusty winds as that storm exits across the state, so we’re staying ready to respond,” said Paul Fischer, spokesperson for Dominion Energy South Carolina. “We want our customers to stay safe and prepared.”…
