GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – State law enforcement charged a Goose Creek woman who was accused of stealing and redeeming 15 scratch-off tickets from several gas stations across the Charleston area.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division announced the arrest of Denise Antionette Maxwell, 35, from Goose Creek, on four charges of intent to defraud and counterfeit game tickets.
According to arrest affidavits, Maxwell was caught on video stealing and attempting to redeem a total of 15 scratch-off tickets across eight gas stations in Charleston and Dorchester Counties. These incidents all occurred on July, 24 2025…
