10 former officers with the Mount Pleasant Police Department are facing allegations of cheating on the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy test.
Mount Pleasant Police Chief Mark Arnold released a statement Friday announcing the department had conducted an internal investigation into possible cheating that resulted in two officers being terminated. After the initial investigation, a second internal review was conducted which determined 8 additional officers had provided and received test answers.
