CARTA to suspend operations late Saturday afternoon

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority announced Saturday morning that its transportation operations would cease at 5 p.m. due to anticipated winter weather.

In addition to ending operations early Saturday, CARTA said service will be delayed until 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon, depending on weather and road conditions.
