NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A woman is facing charges out of North Charleston for allegedly hitting her son and dragging him by his hair because he forgot to lock the front door.
Maleah Kiara Brown, 36, is charged with unlawful conduct toward a child.
This comes after a child and a witness came to the police department Thursday just after 8 p.m., with the child visibly showing “significant” bruising and swelling on the left side of his face, including his cheek and ear.
The child said he was home alone when a pair of men knocked on the front door looking for his mother. After telling them she was not home, the men left and the boy failed to lock the door…
