Maleah Kiara Brown, 36, from North Charleston, S.C., faces unlawful conduct toward a child charges after allegedly dragging her son by the hair and striking his face and knees for forgetting to lock the front door. The incident followed two men knocking while the boy was home alone; upon her return, she reportedly assaulted him, leaving visible bruising and swelling on his cheek and ear.
