NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Two Goose Creek men were arrested Saturday morning following an armed robbery and shooting, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
Christopher Jack-Lewis Hodge, a 20-year-old was arrested and charged with armed robbery, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. The second suspect, 20-year-old Syrus Eddie James Gadsden, was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The incident report states that at approximately 1:25 a.m. an officer on routine patrol noticed unusually heavy vehicle an pedestrian traffic near Lambert and Bexley streets.
While investigating, the officer reportedly heard a gunshot coming from the intersection, and observed a male fleeing the scene on Bexley Street, before losing sight of him.
