North Charleston Police have charged 21-year-old Khuronn Austin White with murder and related offenses in connection with a fatal shooting on October 13, 2025, on Alton Street. White fled to Florida after the incident but was arrested there in November 2025 by U.S. Marshals and extradited back to South Carolina on Friday following a governor’s warrant.
Officers responded to the scene where a man was found outside a home with gunshot wounds and later died at a hospital. White was identified as the suspect through investigation; he also faces charges for possession of a firearm during a violent crime and unlawful conduct toward a child.[query]
