WEST ASHLEY S.C (WCIV) — Charleston Police took three women into custody early Friday morning after gunshots were fired outside R-Pub on Ashley River Road, authorities said.
A patrol officer reported hearing a series of gunshots around 1:30 a.m. on Feb 6 near the bar’s parking lot at 1836 Ashley River Road. Additional units arrived and began sorting out what had happened.
While officers were securing the area, they encountered Jonszhell Derone Simmons-Agnew, 39, of Charleston. The woman appeared heavily intoxicated, was shouting and was attempting to start a fight with another person, officials say. She was detained on a disorderly conduct charge…
