Bonneau Man Arrested on Meth Trafficking Charge After Traffic Stop

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — A routine traffic stop in Bonneau led to the arrest of a 62-year-old man on meth trafficking and weapons charges after deputies discovered more than 26 grams of methamphetamine in his vehicle, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Duane Lewis announced Tuesday that Gregory Bush, 62, of Canal Street in Bonneau, was taken into custody following the Feb. 7 stop. Bush is charged with trafficking methamphetamine — greater than 10 grams but less than 28 grams — and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
