Summerville Man Arrested After Assault, Threatening Deputies

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — A Summerville man is behind bars following an investigation into a violent assault that left a victim hospitalized with injuries and included threats toward law enforcement, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Duane Lewis announced Tuesday that Tyquan Travez Tucker, 29, of Ravens Wood Road, was arrested with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
