Lowcountry Land Trust receives $1 million from Boeing for Angel Oak Preserve

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Lowcountry Land Trust has received a $1 million donation from The Boeing Co. to support the creation of the Angel Oak Preserve, a 44-acre immersive park and living museum centered around one of the region’s most iconic natural landmarks.

The nonprofit organization announced the gift on Wednesday, calling it a significant step toward completing the project and opening it to the public as quickly as possible.
