NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that happened on Rivers Avenue over the weekend.
The North Charleston Police Department said preliminary findings indicate the crash happened around 6 p.m. Sunday on Rivers Avenue near Gumwood Boulevard, which involved a vehicle crashing into a tree.
Police said the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was thrown from the car. They were taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive…
