MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) — Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman after discovering her driving with a stolen license plate.
Luwanda Evelyn Dargan, 44, is charged with operating an uninsured vehicle (second offense), driving under suspension (second offense) and receiving stolen goods.
Deputies responded Tuesday to a house in Cane Bay after a report of a stolen license plate. Upon arrival, deputies met with the victim, who told them her unmarked patrol vehicle for the Charleston Aviation Authority was missing the license plate, sheriff spokesperson Carli Carr said.
