MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Two were arrested by the Mount Pleasant Police Department in connection with a series of burglaries with an estimated $500,000 in stolen property.
Detectives and investigators with MPPD responded to a reported burglary at a local storage facility on Monday. Detectives were able to identify two suspects based on prior information obtained in burglary investigations earlier in the month.
A search warrant at the suspect’s residence resulted in the recovery of roughly $500,000 worth of stolen property, including a rifle not yet reported stolen, the report states…
