Charleston, SC – After severe storms moved through the region Sunday, forecasters are now warning of a sharp temperature drop that could bring dangerously cold wind chills to parts of coastal South Carolina early this week.

According to the US National Weather Service in Charleston, wind chill values are expected to dip into the upper teens to low 20s during the early morning hours Monday and again Tuesday. The coldest readings are forecast between 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday, and again late Monday night into Tuesday morning…
