MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — An explosion reported Monday afternoon led firefighters to a home on the 900 block of Simmons Street, where crews found heavy smoke and an attic fire, according to the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.
Fire units were dispatched shortly after 2 p.m, while crews were on the way, callers reported that flames were moving through the residence.
