BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – An annual Francis Marion Memorial Service on Friday will feature a special flyover by the South Carolina Air National Guard.
The event, hosted by Berkeley 250 and the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission, will welcome historians, descendants, and community leaders as organizers mark the anniversary of the Revolutionary War general’s death in 1795.
