NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — NCPD is investigating a shooting incident in the area of Alta Shores apartments that allegedly stemmed from an argument over coffee cups at a nearby Joe’s Kwik Mart days earlier.
Officers responded to a report of gunfire Sunday evening in the areas of Elms Plantation Blvd and Elms Center Road. When they arrived, they located the victim, who told them they heard gunfire take place, and after walking outside, found multiple bullet holes in their vehicle parked out front. The victim then explained he observed a vehicle pulling away as he went outside to investigate, per the police report.
The victim made his way to the front of the apartment complex, where the same vehicle was observed. An exchange of gunfire took place during that altercation, leading to the suspect fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported…
