BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — A lawsuit filed against Berkeley County has now been settled following a 2020 car crash.
On Oct. 11, 2020, three members of the Freeman family, Chad, Andrea and Meredith Freeman, were killed in a car accident at the intersection of Nexton Parkway and Brighton Park Boulevard. The lawsuit alleged that a median and trees at the intersection blocked visibility for both drivers involved at the time of the crash.
