CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A Charleston jury found a man guilty in the killing of another man nearly three years ago.
Neil Ferrell was found guilty of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime following a three-day trial. He was sentenced to life in the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
Surveillance video showed Ferrell fatally shooting Malcolm Jones Jr. in the chest while Jones was in the Stanley Steemer parking lot the night of July 2, 2023. Despite several eyewitnesses, only one person called for service for Jones, according to Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s spokesperson Ashley Kay
