Man charged after breaking store windows in downtown Charleston, police say

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A man is facing charges after he told Charleston police officers that he broke windows at a downtown Charleston Walgreens Thursday morning.

Tamir Grant, 27, of Charleston, was charged with malicious injury to property.

Officers responded to the store at King and Calhoun streets for a vandalism report. Upon arrival, they saw Grant sitting on a curb outside the store. Grant later allegedly admitted to breaking the windows…
