LADSON S.C. (WCIV) — A Dorchester County man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting his neighbor in 2025, prosecutors announced.
39-year-old Yordani Miguez of Ladson, admitted to attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, said Solicitor David Pascoe.
The shooting happened on July 27, 2025, investigators said, when the 42-year-old victim was standing in the yard of his Flamingo Drive home. Miguez, seated in the doorway of his own house, told the victim not to move before firing twice with a rifle.
