Summerville man gets 18 years after guilty plea in August 2024 rape case

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — A 27-year-old Summerville resident has been convicted in the August 2024 rape of a Summerville woman, according to a new release from the office of solicitor David Pascoe.

Cesar Martinez plead guilty to one count of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree and was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
