Picnic for the Parks Tickets Now Available

Tickets are now available for the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s sixth annual Picnic for the Parks, presented by Biom, a spring afternoon that brings families together in one of the city’s most iconic parks. The event returns to Hampton Park’s Rose Pavilion at 30 Mary Murray Drive on Sunday, April 26, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., where tickets have historically sold out each year.

The all-inclusive event features an open bar for adults, food from well-known Charleston restaurants, live entertainment, and hands-on activities designed for children and families. Tickets are $125 for adults and $50 for children, with free entry for children aged two and under. Proceeds support the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s work caring for and enhancing 26 parks, gardens, and trails throughout the city. Tickets and event information are available at charlestonparksconservancy.org/picnicfortheparks.

“Charleston’s parks are where families gather, children explore, and neighbors connect,” said event co-chair Kensey Rabun. “Picnic for the Parks celebrates these spaces while helping keep them vibrant and welcoming for all.”

Held beneath the live oaks of Hampton Park, the afternoon blends classic picnic traditions with a festival-style lineup of activities. Families can visit a petting zoo, create flower crowns, enjoy face painting, take part in classic outdoor field games and enjoy the return of the Big Slide!…
