CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The Charleston Wine + Food Festival celebrated a milestone this weekend: 20 years of bringing together the best chefs, beverage makers and hospitality specialists right here in the Lowcountry.
“Food is a universal language. It’s a way to connect with people. It’s a way to share stories, create memories. But it’s a storyteller too, and something that we do for Charleston Wine + Food at all of our events is weaving those stories of the Lowcountry into every experience,” Alyssa Maute Smith, executive director of Charleston Wine + Food, said.
