Man arrested after allegedly pulling long gun on someone sitting on the porch: NCPD

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A 30-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly pulling out a long gun and threatening another person who was sitting on their porch, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Shortly after 8 p.m., officers were called to a residence on Fuller Street near Piedmont Avenue after a victim said he was being threatened with a gun. The suspect, later identified as Jesus Francisco Garcia Diaz from North Charleston, drove away and turned onto Rivers Avenue before officers arrived on scene.

While speaking with the victim, police discovered that the man was sitting on his porch when Garcia Diaz allegedly walked up, racked a long gun, and started yelling at him. The victim then fired two shots into the ground in an attempt to get Garcia Diaz to flee, but he initially didn’t leave until police were called…
