NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A Dorchester County man was arrested in connection with an armed robbery last Tuesday.
Jahiem Malik Jones, 22, is charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
North Charleston police responded to the 5700 block of Diedrich Street on March 3, following a report of an armed robbery shortly after 11 p.m. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that he was sitting in his truck and talking with his wife when two men suddenly approached him and demanded money.
The suspects allegedly pointed a gun at the victim’s head twice while searching the victim’s pockets. He told officers that he did not have any cash, but the suspects took his phone before leaving the scene…
