NEWPORT — Another Incredible Tiny Homes (ITH) customer has reported that she paid for a house and has not received it. Jennifer Hopkins, who lives in Charleston, South Carolina, said that she paid $111,200 for a Charleston model tiny home in November 2024 and is yet to receive it more than 16 months later.
She said the cost of living is so high on the coast, she decided it would be more economical to buy a tiny home then rent a lot in the Charleston area.
“I can’t afford to buy a home in Charleston,” she said. “So, about eight years ago I started looking into tiny homes and I decided that was what I was going to do. I was going to buy a tiny home.”…
