Mount Pleasant Police investigate reported disturbance; possible gun involved

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Mount Pleasant police responded to a reported disturbance Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Sea Gull Drive that involved someone pointing a gun about 3:40 p.m. Officers said no injuries were reported and the people involved had separated before officers arrived.

Sgt. Robert Blaschke said the person accused of pointing the gun returned to a house while other people remained on the scene to talk with officers. Officers have contained the situation and are attempting to persuade the person to come out of the house…
